Works on my 2014 Chevy Cruz

I lost my only key to my car which was then stuck in the airport lot. The locksmith programmed both. He quickly finished the initial cutting and programming of the key (the vehicle control module failed so he couldn't hook up the remote start, but that's not the key's fault). Anyhow, the buttons work great and look and act just like a lost OEM unit. forever on a flight to Alaska. FYI: If your car's display says it can't see the remote but your remote opens the doors and trunk, it could be your remote start module. The locksmith struggled for 2 hours and couldn't connect, then the dealer diagnosed a module fault. When the key is cut correctly, you can start the car by putting the key in a "key pocket" hidden somewhere in the car. On the Cruz, this keyhole is in a console under a small rubber cup in front of the cup holders.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No paint needed
