The price was very low compared to the prices they gave me. I paid a locksmith, Minnesota Locksmith WSP, MN, to fix the original key; cutting and programming new keys. After about 30 minutes they were fully functional. I had to pay $10 for a new key fob battery, but the total cost of service and keys was still $100-150 less than retail prices.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Everything is fine

These costs are much lower than at the dealer.

I was concerned after reading some of the reviews that they weren't good, but mine worked fine. I took them to a local locksmith who cut the keys (2) and programmed the fob for 50.00 bar. So after buying 2 key fobs from Revain for 24.95 + from a local locksmith for 50.00 I still got a lot less than the retailer wanted which was 389.00 for 1. Thank you Revain for offering amazing values . Is there anything Revain doesn't sell?!

Unlucky Locksmith - Interior

They worked great on the 2015 Camaro. The locksmith tries to insist that I have to program the key with them and that it won't work if I try to do it any other way, so he insisted on trying to make a spare key, which I told him should be one Copy of my master key. He was trying to make this master key which didn't fit as I had a master key which I drove to the building with to make a key copy so he was frustrated with this and couldn't program it properly. I went online and programmed the…

Absolutely worth it!

The original key fobs for my car were worn out and when I asked the dealer for a replacement they said the recall prevented them from doing so. When I asked for a free recall replacement they simply removed the key from the fob and cut out a new key before sending the worn fob back along with the newly cut keys. Keychains continued to deteriorate and I finally ordered them. Except for the missing Chevy butterfly on the key fobs, they work great and were quick to cut out and connect to the car…

Great value for keyless entry

I broke my Buick Verano key fob and the dealer basically wanted to donate my organs right there and there. Incredibly expensive. So I looked on YouTube how to make things yourself. There was success and all I needed was a key. I stumbled across this product and decided to give it a try. Absolutely perfect! Took it to a cutter. Costs less than $50 and follows the instructions on YouTube and the driver manual and the dongle works GREAT with no issues. The ONLY scam I've come across (because I…

Works on my 2014 Chevy Cruz

I lost my only key to my car which was then stuck in the airport lot. The locksmith programmed both. He quickly finished the initial cutting and programming of the key (the vehicle control module failed so he couldn't hook up the remote start, but that's not the key's fault). Anyhow, the buttons work great and look and act just like a lost OEM unit. forever on a flight to Alaska. FYI: If your car's display says it can't see the remote but your remote opens the doors and trunk, it could be your…

No additional cost for key programming/cutting

Key exchange: Open the "switch" to unlock the key as you would start the car. You will see a small steel pin attaching the straight key blank to the console. Knock out that pin (a 3D finishing nail and hammer work well). Follow the same procedure to remove the corresponding part from one of your old remote controls. Move that old key blank to the new remote and reinstall the pin to hold it in place. Now take another old remote control with the original key and use it to start the car. After a…

GREAT PRODUCT EASY TO PROGRAM

I bought this for a 2014 Buick Verano, I called the locksmith and asked how much it would cost to cut it off, he said it would cost me $160 cost for each key. . I just wanted to order them from the dealer. I went to the dealer to get a price for cutting it off. They said since it's not their key they won't cut it off if it doesn't work. (If it was one of their keys they would do it for free). I told them if it didn't work I would take responsibility for it and not hold them accountable. cut off

  • Pleasant to use
