Key exchange: Open the "switch" to unlock the key as you would start the car. You will see a small steel pin attaching the straight key blank to the console. Knock out that pin (a 3D finishing nail and hammer work well). Follow the same procedure to remove the corresponding part from one of your old remote controls. Move that old key blank to the new remote and reinstall the pin to hold it in place. Now take another old remote control with the original key and use it to start the car. After a few seconds, turn off the car and within 10 seconds, use the new remote control with the original key you just installed to start the car. After a few seconds, the car will automatically program the new remote control. Repeat all this to place the other original cut button on the second new remote. Start the car with the new unit already programmed, switch off the car and after 10 seconds start the second new combination of remote control and original key. Everything worked fine for me - no locksmith, no dealer - and now I have two new full-featured remotes for only $28 - great!
