I have two ugly long surgical scars from a knee prosthesis. One scar is about two years old, the other a year old. This serum works very well on old scars. The scar takes on my natural skin color again and smoothes out. As for a recent scar, I haven't noticed such a drastic difference, but the scar is flatter and I imagine it will be a lot less noticeable in the long run. I will buy it again before it disappears with no explanation from Revain like many other products do.
