I washed it the day I got it (hot warm cycle w. disinfectant). Flip it inside out before washing. I threw it in the dryer on medium air cycle and it was still fluffy. Took about 30 minutes to dry (I fluffed the half way through, to make sure dried it completely.) it will shed a little when you dry it which is good before I don’t want the loose sheds to get in my hair and clothes. They screwed up on the shoulder straps with this model. They are about 2-3" too short. This prevents you from placing each strap over the edge of the seat to make it easier for your kid to get into the seat without sitting on top of the straps. This is our 4th car seat(1st from Chicco) and first one to have this issue. And the cup holder. Good lord could they have made that thing any cheaper?
