Bad reviews are people who don't know what they are buying.
They work great. There are other interesting reviews saying they don't work, they don't connect properly. Not so. The output is mode A. That means the output is pins 1,2,3 and 6 on both outputs. Input - all eight contacts. 4 pins of the original mode A go to one output, and the remaining four pins 4,5,7 and 8 go to another output. This is an ingenious solution. And yes, it doesn't give you gigabit bandwidth, that's true. But for IP cameras, it's great.
