I've used various brands of thermal transfer vinyl over the past few years, most recently with the Cricut Explore Air 2. Usually there isn't much difference between brands, and for the most part, Tilon seems fairly being in the middle package when it comes to things like clean cuts and easy weeding. The colors are vibrant and seem to hold up well after a few washes, so that's a good thing. What bothers me the most is the really strong smell they give off. At first I thought that vinyl's thermal properties were something unusual and that I was burning it. But after checking three times that I was using the correct hardware settings and that nothing was contaminating my transfer board, it turned out that the variable here was the vinyl itself. but the smell seemed to permeate the fabric and only went away after two washes. It's fine (not great, but not completely) for shirts and other fabrics that you typically wash, but I wouldn't use it for things like canvas, large bags, or really anything you don't feel comfortable throwing away. . in the washing machine.
