Review on Tombow 56148 Brush Empty Upright by Kimberly Saunders

I have the Tombow marker set that came with this stand and I love it. It stays in the corner of my desk - the pens look amazing, are easy to access and use, and stay organized. After receiving a full set (90) of Tombow Irojiten Crayons as a gift and trying to find a storage solution so I could keep them on my desk I decided to order another one of these coasters to see if it would fit Crayons as it's so good for markers. Because this stand is designed for tombow markers (which are fairly narrow, but not as narrow as a pencil), pencils will slide around in them a bit. I used a little black masking tape to make the holes smaller to make it work and fit nicely on my desk, but it's not ideal for storing crayons. But again, that's not what it was designed for. As a joke I tried some of my Zig Clean Color markers in it and they fit on the brush cap/tip up. So if you're wondering if this might be a good solution for storing those markers, this is it. But if you're looking for a good storage solution for your crayons and don't want them slipping into their slots and falling diagonally into *other* slots, this isn't ideal. I would like someone to invent a similar stand with smaller slots for storing pencils/pens. So far this is the closest I've found.
