Tombow 56148 Brush Empty Upright Review

No way to tip them to the side without them all sliding out. Towbow Duel Tip brushes should be stored on their side, not upright. So it's pretty much useless unless I can get my husband to make a holder at the bottom so it can lay flat. I've tried different things to put it on its side, why make a vertical grab holder and the handles should be kept horizontal?

It's very similar to Lego, it slides straight out of the box, bangs its legs either up or down and BAM. Square pen holder. I was tired of always carrying pencils and other stuff in my suitcase, so I wanted a simple little thing to store pencils and pens in. The tip is 75% in the box and will hold pretty much anything up to middle finger height and the thickness of the marker, it takes some effort to get the rest of the marker on the underside. I like it.

I was surprised how good this little stand is. The plastic construction is pretty solid and holds nearly 100 pens/pencils/whatever. Also, unlike similar pen holders, the top tier is *low*, so short pens and pencils fit in very well. I bought a second one to organize small tools like screwdrivers and scissors on my desk. This is a six piece hard plastic stand. Insert the four legs into the base at the corners, place the top on the legs and press. The stand is now assembled. Maybe I'll add some glue. It seems pretty secure, but I can imagine lifting the top of the shelf and sending pens and pencils flying. A little glue would be good insurance. Pencils fit freely in the stand. Anyone who draws or paints should own one of these TomBow coasters. They are not only suitable for ballpoint pens, but also for colored pencils. They fit many different pen sizes including Prismacolor Premier Soft Cores, Verithins, Straedtler etc. Before I got this stand I spent a lot of time going through my crayons to find the color I was looking for and now it's so easy to see and select the pens I want to use. This is a very affordable and quality item for storing pens and markers, not just the Tombow brand. I already have one of these for my Tombow markers (5 or 6 years old) so the quality was good. I have ordered 2 more for my Kuretake Markers and Kuretake Watercolor Brush Sets. They fit perfectly in these racks! I have a set of 60 brushes and a set of 36 markers.
