Way to keep bread fresh

I make my own bread. Rather than using foils, I find this an environmentally friendly in keeping my fresh baked breads. The bags may not be suitable for storing baked goods with icing or frosting.

Pros
  • Can fit large loaves of bread
Cons
  • The bags may not be suitable for storing baked goods with icing or frosting

Staying fresh! on my review.

Keeps the bread fresh and crusty! The best invention since sliced bread- Just kidding on that one, but for sure a great addition to our Kitchen.

Pros
  • Linen material is naturally moisture-wicking
Cons
  • They may not be as easy to seal as plastic bags

The bags seem to retain freshness.

These bread bags remind me of the flour cloth bags my Grandmother used to use. The only difference is the sturdiness of your bag. I like this quality in these bags. I've always preferred the bags to bread boxes. They keep the freshness a bit longer. These bags are a quality product.

Pros
  • Compact and lightweight
Cons
  • The bags may leave lint on the bread

Great bags for homemade bread

These are lovely bags for breads. I bought them for home made bread. Keeps it perfectly outside the refrigerator but I only keep it for a day or two as the bread doesn’t have any preservatives. I have not tried it with store bought bread or refrigerating thebread inside the bags. I like the material. It can be wash in the washing machine but I let it air dry instead of the dryer

Pros
  • Preserves bread's natural flavors
Cons
  • The drawstring may become loose over time

Living green! on my review.

I didn’t expect much but these turn out to be great quality and very nicely made. They definitely help cut down on plastic use. It can be used to put anything in instead of plastic bag or paper bag (which can be torn if you put sth too heavy in).

Pros
  • The arrived in a timely manner and are intended for a Christmas gift. Can`t wait to see how they work!
Cons
  • They may not be as effective as plastic bags for preserving freshness

Made well and sized properly for the bread I bake

I was a bit hesitant with the mixed reviews, but these were perfect for my needs. I will repurchase more as they elevate the presentation of your gift. I've used them all with the exception of the wine bag as I just haven't needed it yet. They are well made, and handled washing, fine. I put them in s mesh bag, washed in cold, and hung to dry.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The linen material may shrink when washed

Highly recommend this seller and bags.

Well made wonderful reusable bread bags.Well made. Look nice too. Fun set. Have some as a gift as well as use them myself for my homemade bread. Much better than plastic or plastic wrap. And no I'm not being paid or compensated for this review!

Pros
  • Great for travel
Cons
  • The material may not be eco-friendly or sustainable

These Zero Waste Bread Bags are the Best

I love my bread bags, and I love not contributing unnecessary waste to landfills. These wash well, and are large enough to hold LOTS of bread, keeping it fresher for longer, and are really attractive if you like to make loaves for gifts. I'll never go back to regular bread bags again. So happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Can fit a baguette
Cons
  • The bags may trap air inside, causing the bread to become stale

A natural way to store bread

I just got these and have only used one. I hand washed it with a bit of dish soap and rinsed thoroughly using warm water and vinegar to remove any soap smell. I'm using the bag to store my homemade sourdough which was staying too damp in a Ziploc bag. Our weather has been quite dry so I have been slipping the linen bag with the bread inside a produce bag which allows the bread to breathe a bit without drying out. Working great so far.

Pros
  • Eliminates the need for plastic bags
Cons
  • The bags may not be suitable for use in humid climates

Great idea: my feedback

I love making bread and have tried various ways to keep it fresh. These bags work best. They are easy to clean and look quite attractive on the kitchen counter. Good quality, very sturdy.

Pros
  • Great for storing leftovers
Cons
  • The linen material may be more prone to fading over time

What’s better than wine and bread!

These fun and functional linen bags are perfect for my homemade breads, but are good for store bought bread as well. Even though they say to hand wash, I washed on delicate cycle and they came out fine. I would highly recommend. And you get a wine bag for good measure.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • They may not be as sanitary as plastic bags

Great Quality Bread Bags

These bags are exactly what I was looking for. I don't like to store homemade bread in plastic, and these are the perfect alternative. They did shrink slightly when I washed them before the first use, but the shrinkage was minimal and did not affect the usage. They remain plenty big to fit my homemade loaves.

Pros
  • Ideal for use in a bread box
Cons
  • The material may not be as resistant to stains as silicone bags

My bread has stayed soft !

I am just starting to bake bread. Wanted a good place to store them. Found these bags here on revain. When I got them, I washed them per instructions, let them dry and then they were ready ! I wrapped the bread in waxed paper first, per instruction. Today is day 6 that the bread has been in the bag, what is left is still moist and soft ! I was surprised that the bread would stay soft. Crust was getting a little dry, but I made sure my family re-wrapped the bread first. When they did that, The…

Pros
  • Keeps bread fresh for longer periods of time
Cons
  • The bags may require ironing to maintain a crisp appearance

High quality on my review.

The linen bread bags are perfect for keeping bread fresh on the counter. I bought some to use as gifts when giving homemade bread away at the holidays. These are very sturdy and attractive.

Pros
  • Reduces food contamination
Cons
  • They may take up more space in the pantry than other storage options

Line Bread Bags on my review.

I am happy with the bags; I haven't used them yet but they seem quite sturdy and they are certainly sized to hold good sized loaves.

Pros
  • 9.6 ounces
Cons
  • The drawstring may not be long enough to close the bag tightly

Works great best in my review

During the pandemic I have been making bread at home. Generally a pesant loaf. Using these bags, two days later the bread is still good. Before, using a ziplock bag there was mold forming in the same timeframe.

Pros
  • Comes in a set of 4
Cons
  • They may not seal tightly enough to prevent moisture absorption

Cleaning instructions

Haven’t used it yet however it would’ve been great if instructions were available given on how to clean it. Looks nice and sturdy

Pros
  • Helps to reduce the use of plastic
Cons
  • They may require more maintenance than plastic bags

Linen bread cloth on my review.

I was skeptical at first, but these do work. I just recently purchased a bread container and along with putting my bread in the linen bag it stays moist and does not mold as quick as it did with plastic bags. Good by plastic. Love this product.

Pros
  • Made from high-quality linen material
Cons
  • They may be less efficient for storing sliced bread

Bread rock hard overnight

I make bread at home to save some money and to know what's in my food. Purchased this to help keep that bread fresh. I didn't expect it to keep the bread fresh for any longer than a week but the bread that I had made at 8pm was hard as a rock by 6am the next day, not even 24 hours. The bags are really easy to clean and I do still use them to store bread though I put the bread in a Ziploc bag first.

Pros
  • Storage & Organization
Cons
  • They may not be practical for larger loaves of bread

Depends on your humidity

This bag worked for me ONLY if bread was also stored in a breadbox. Even then, two days is the best it can do before I had a rock hard loaf. I live in Arizona so I am sure the dry climate is a factor. I would love to see how this does in a high humidity climate. Not helpful.

Pros
  • Ideal for picnics and outdoor gatherings
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for storing bread with seeds or toppings
