I had been keeping bread in plastic bags, but this doesn't encourage a good crust. I also have been trying to eliminate as much plastic as possible and as these can be washed and re-used, it also saves money.

My daughter has recently started doing sour dough baking, I gave her these bags for her birthday and she absolutely loves them .

Very retro bags, reminds me of what we used in the 40s and 50s. Very high quality. Reminds me of the many good things that have disappeared in our modern throw away world. These were a good idea then and even a better idea now. Whoever thought of resurrecting these, cudos. Five stars all the way.

Just received the bags, they are sturdy and appear to be well made. We have only had them a few days so it is too soon to tell if the bags will keep our bread fresher longer.

Does what it promises--the square bags look to be big enough for a 2+ pound boule. The baguette bags are long enough for the 21" loaves that come out of my oven, and big enough each to hold two loaves if need be.There's nothing miraculous at play, but it'll make your 2-day old bread taste like day old, and that's not nothing.

I really like the bags. I've hand washed them and hung them to dry, and they are good. Bags are plenty big. So far so good! Thanks for attention!

These bags are perfect for the variety of bread that I make on a weekly basis. I have yet to test how long the freshness of my bread lasts in them (I’ve only tried a bag for a couple of days) but for now, they are a great reusable storage option.

The bags come with care instruction, which is really helpful.I washed them as soon as I got them, and once dry I started using them right after. They work really well, and they keep the bread fresh and soft. I think it's really nice that they come in different sizes, and the wine bag is a nice gift.

Just started using them, but I am satisfied right now. I am a home baker and usually store my bread in zip lock bags. This was not very satisfying since it turned my crispy crust soft and chewy. After washing the bags (and do so! a lt of dirt came out of them), I stored my first bread in them and after two days the crust is still crispy and the bread is still fresh. A marked improvement!

I hate to put my homemade crispy crust bread in plastic where it just gets soft. These bags are attractive, environmentally correct, and keep my loaves looking and tasting good a little longer.

These bags are very high quality and should fit most of the bread i make. Might be good for ripening fruit too but will need to experiment more.

I purchased these bread bags hoping as a description said it would keep my bread nice and fresh. These bags look great, I have been using them since I got them. With all the bread I've made I quarantine they have gotten quite a lot of use. Only thing is that once the bread is cut the end does dry out some, but still a great way to gift a loaf of bread.

Bread dries out in the bread bag. They are very sturdy and probably easy to clean. But I wouldn't use it for bread. That's my review!

This was a gift for my sister that is a new baker. She loves them and can't wait to prep them for use soon (they have to be prewashed/dried prior to use). Also, love the little wine carrier bag that came as a bonus. Great gift item - didn't disappoint!
