I was about to give these sturdy jars 5 stars when I noticed a chemical odor. I washed the jars and the lid thoroughly and the next day the chemical odor persisted. I traced the source to the plastic inserts in the metal lids. Then I soaked and washed and re-soaked the lids in various watery solutions for days, but the toxic odor never diminished. These jars are indeed made of glass, but they have many flaws. There is a very visible and ugly seam on all the jars. They also have bubbles or what look like little dents in the glass. One of the jars in the set of 4 I received has an ugly scratch on it. These are not dishwasher safe. The lids don’t have any rubber seal.I won’t go through the hassle of returning these, so I’ll probably use them for bathroom organization. Very disappointing since these are advertised for food storage.

I bought two to add to my other collection but not without hesitation. I love the style of these for tall pastas but this cap has a plastic interior screw that tends to break down over time and start sloughing off a tiny white plastic dust on items. My previous set, while old, was visibly shedding bits of plastic so I used the best few for wrapped items like chocolate or candy within wrappers. I had to throw the other lids out as they were really bad and who wants to eat little bits of plastic…

These are very study and so cute! However the inner part of the lid screws on, but the silver lid just slides right off. A little disappointed…

I prefer to store dry goods in glass containers rather than the plastic bag they come in or a plastic container. These are the perfect height for spaghetti noodles.

These containers are great for many food items because they’re a bit bigger than I anticipated. I bought them to replace some old containers and I am very happy. I store sugar, Splenda and teabags in them in the counter next to my kettle and keurug.

Beautiful cylinders. Sturdy/strong glass, fitted tops, easy to clean, and elegant in their own right. Have yet to fill them but honestly, I love the way they look bare. Will update once I add product in the jars.

These are really nice and much bigger than I expected. Since they are made of glass I'm trying to be very careful in handling them.

I liked the size of the jars but the glass does not seem too thick and as other reviewers mentioned, the two seams are really noticeable. I am using them in the back of my pantry.

I just received these canisters; they are nice and clear, tall and a really good weight. The tops screw on nice and tight to keep air out. So far I’m really loving them!

I love these containers for cereal and spaghetti they are constantly filled. The food stays fresh and no bugs get in. Glass is 100% better than plastic containers. When I bought my first two I decided I needed two more and I’m glad I purchased two more. They are heavy jars but they are very easy to handle and pour the cereal in your bowl. I know that people talk about the lids that they’re plastic but my opinion is the lids are just fine.

The product is fine and what I expected but revain is not holding up their end of the bargain with two day Prime shipping. This was ordered Jun 13, and it finally arrived Jun 23! Not the first time I have received my Prime order days late, not the two days I paid for with my Prime membership. The richest company in the world need to honor their commitment for 2 day delivery!
