I've used this to measure in/out Automatic Transmission Fluid for 8 months, and it hasn't affected the plastic yet. I got this for my 6 year old granddaughter and she had a blast with it. She brought more of her dinosaurs to the set and played with them while the cars sped around the track. It took a while to put the track together so it worked properly, but that was a big part of the fun. I know some reviewers complained about the quality of the tracks but I'm not sure what they were expecting for a toy with tracks under $30. I bought these for my 10 year old son in August 2021. Here we are in February, 2022 and the shoes are still in great condition for a kid that wears them every day in school.
