Does NOT fit the SSD screw on a Dell XPS15 9520

I bought this to install a second SSD on my new Dell XPS15 9520 and the screw was the wrong size and did not fit. That's my review.

Pros
  • Did what it was supposed to do and it had multiple sizes
Cons
  • The holes on the SSD may not align perfectly with the mounting holes

Not Magnetic good for me

It did come with the screw I needed and has multiple sizes, with multiples of each size. However the screwdriver is not magnetic at all and made my install way harder than it needed to be.

Pros
  • Computer Components
Cons
  • The kit may not be available for purchase outside of certain regions

SSD chips don't come with these?

These screws are a very unique size and threading to hold down SSD/NVME chips, and for some odd reason, SSDs sometimes or even most of them, don't come with these screws! What's worse is the screws can't be found anywhere, including computer part stores or hardware stores like Home Depot or Ace Hardware. For a pack of 16, I'd say they are worth storing for any other future projects or PC builds. Worth every penny!

Pros
  • Perfectly compatible with M.2 NVME hard drives and ASUS motherboards.
Cons
  • The screws may scratch or damage the surface of the SSD

Two sizes; part don't fit

Nvme m.2 use s pretty standard size on a motherboard. I expected all of the size that fit. It's too much hassle to send this small pack back. Especially when you needed the one size now.Plus they include this tiny screwdriver.Minus, if you are working on a vertical, populated mobo, it's too short. You need three hands. Lol

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The screws may be too short for certain PC cases

Good item to have around

I ordered these to have some extra around. The only issue I have is it took weeks for them to arrive. I mean a very long time.

Pros
  • Has the screws that fit my Asus Z370-a motherboard👍😎
Cons
  • The screws may strip easily if not properly handled

Contains Both M2 SSD Size Screws

This products contains both the regular (larger size) that screws into the MB and the smaller size that screws into the riser that some MBs use to elevate the SSD. I was in a pinch because my new MB had the risers for 2 M2 SSDs without screws. This product shipped fast, was inexpensive and had what I needed.

Pros
  • Durable construction: The screws included in this kit are made from high-quality materials, ensuring optimal durability and longevity
Cons
  • The kit may require additional accessories for proper compatibility

I thought they weren't gonna work but they did!

For the money you spend it's a pretty good value. Every motherboard is different, some use those little standup screws that you screw into the motherboard and then the m.2 SSD sits on the standup screw and then you use this guy to mount it down. Some just require a single screw to mount it down. Regardless of your motherboard situation these guys got you covered. They include a couple different sizes which is very convenient and the screw driver is also nice.

Pros
  • Needed some extra M.2 screws. This fits the bill and comes with a screwdriver. Works fine
Cons
  • The screws may not fit snugly enough, causing noise or vibration

screws are cheap metal and strip easily.

Screws are cheap metal and strip easily. They do the job, but be mindful when tightening that they will easily strip out.

Pros
  • Good value
Cons
  • Screws too long. Screw bottomed out on my 2020 XPS 9500 and wouldn't hold the SSD tight in the slot.

Just what I wanted good for me

Is a great magnetic American flag, the magnetism is very strong and it stays attached to the front of my garage door, looks great up close or from a distance, and I would definitely buy again

Pros
  • Computer Screws
Cons
  • The screws may be prone to loosening due to thermal expansion

Needed these for a Dell Inspiron 5675 and worked great

I needed this because I lost the screw that was hold my old NVME SSD in my Dell Computer, so I just ordered this, and the kit has 2 sets of screws some big threads and other smaller threads and it worked great and I have a LOT of spares.

Pros
  • 100% work with motherboard ASUS ROG Strix B660-A Gaming
Cons
  • Screws did not fit.

Effective Product, Works as needed

Safely secured my M.2 SSD onto my motherboard, just needed to make sure the connection to the motherboard is solid to close the case for good. After that, haven't had any reason to pick up another screw since thankfully.

Pros
  • The M2 2280 Screws Kit is compatible with a wide range of M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs, ensuring that your investment is future-proofed
Cons
  • The screws may be prone to rust or corrosion over time

Not What I Needed - my new review

I followed the posted information to try and ensure that this would work for my motherboard. It did not work. Make sure you read very carefully and do your research!

Pros
  • It came with two types of screws, some for desktops and some for laptops. They get the job done
Cons
  • Some users may prefer a more minimalist mounting solution

Extra screws are handy to have.

I bought this because I was upgrading a new used computer to an NVME drive and needed a screw to hold in the drive. I always like having extra ones around, you never know when you might need another one. I have thousands of various screws (from my time building computers for customers) but did not have this particular one. Shipping was fast and once I opened up the package I was able to use it immediately.

Pros
  • Enhances performance: A properly mounted M.2 SSD can provide faster data transfer speeds and overall system performance, making the M2 2280 Screws Kit a great investment
Cons
  • The screws may be difficult to locate if they fall out during installation

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Works but very tedious

It will fit M.2 applications but the driver is not magnetic and these are almost microscopic sized screws. Lost several in the process of installing an NVME drive.

Pros
  • Perfecto, la use en mi Asus
Cons
  • The kit may add unnecessary weight to the PC build

Just what I needed for my NVME M.2 Enclosures

I’ve bought progressively faster NVME M.2 drive enclosures as I’ve updated my laptops (finally needing the 40gbps/thunderbolt 3 type to pair with my latest system). Somehow, as I upgraded, I managed to lose the all-important screw that holds the drive to the board for a few of them. Now that I’ve upgraded my drives as well to Gen 4 and increased capacities, I wanted to relegate some of my slower/smaller drives to my slower enclosures. I tried ever screw in my junk drawer, but nothing would quite

Pros
  • Lost previous screw have replacement now
Cons
  • The kit may be overpriced compared to other mounting solutions

I needed some screws for a SSD

I needed some screws for a SSD. The screws worked but the included screwdrivers does not fit some of the screws. It works for tightening my eyeglasses though.

Pros
  • Application: Perfect for laptop notebook m.2 nvme, applied in electronics, personal computers, PC board, DIY, etc.
Cons
  • The kit may be too complicated for novice PC builders

Nice little kit. - my new review

Really glad I bought his kit. The screws work fine with my Gigabyte board. Also, my luck, while working on my computer. I had my stock M2 Screw on my desk which rolled or dropped somewhere in the carpet on the floor. never found again. Had I not bought this kit I was dead in the water. could not have reinstalled my M2 drive.Having these screws on-hand saved me.

Pros
  • Affordable: Compared to other SSD mounting solutions, the M2 2280 Screws Kit is an affordable option that doesn't skimp on quality or performance
Cons
  • The kit may not be necessary for those who plan to upgrade their SSD in the near future

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Screwdriver isn't magnetic enough, or at all.

Because the screws are so tiny and the included screwdriver isn't magnetized enough, I found that I ended up losing 2-3 screws because they'd just fall off with the littlest of movement.

Pros
  • Great product great value.
Cons
  • The screws may be difficult to remove if needed

misleading - my new review

Came with a tiny non-magnetic tip philips screwdriver. Plenty of different sized tiny screws though. Disappointed Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • 16x Flat Head Screws 1x Screwdriver
Cons
  • The kit may not fit in certain types of M.2 slots
