Nice items to have just in case

M.2 SSD screw is one of the hardest screw to find. Most of this type of screw is very fragile. If you are not careful, you could ruin the thread easily even with a correct screwdriver tip. Most of the time, they are not even supplied by ssd manufacturer. I am so glad that I found this batch of screws. If a screw is stuck because of a screwed up thread with pun intended, use a small plier to unscrew it.

Works well for M.2 NVME mounting.

These screws have worked on many brands and both laptops and desktops. Great product. Great price to be able to have them around for my customers.

Its not all m2 screws. There are two sizes. It does not mention that or look like that in the pic

i wanted all the small m2 size screws for my computer shop and ended up with 9 of those and 7 of this othersize that are not for m2. not sure why this was not made clear.

Screwdriver head is too small to handle on tight screws

I have purchased this to open up a Dell laptop and the hand is too small to get good leverage to loosen tight screws. The screws and screwdriver are getting stripped. Junk!

Life Saver: my feedback

My computer did not come with any M.2 screws. This kit was a life saver, and I now have two SSDs installed thanks to it. If you are looking for a cheap kit with many sizes, this is the one to get.

Pros
  • The screws did the trick and screwdriver was much appreciated. Now if only my hands were smaller :)

  • The screws may become loose over time, risking damage to the SSD

Good value; worked great!

The screws fit and let me install my new NVME drive (the original screw in the drive I was replacing had gotten all stripped out). Worked like a charm. I'm happy to have the extra screws for next time I need something. Full disclosure: I didn't actually use the screw driver provided, as I had just purchased a new set of screwdrivers that included this size. So, I can't comment on the quality of the provided screwdriver.

They didn't include the screwdriver in the picture

It didn't come with the screwdriver! Very frustrating. Don't know how something so simple and necessary as this gets overlooked.

None fit the mounting screw holes

None of the supplied screws fit in the mounting stand off for my Asus X570 motherboard’s NVME M.2 socket. They were too big for the stand-off post.
