Great for storage, lid interiors do degrade over time or with abuse
I bought two to add to my other collection but not without hesitation. I love the style of these for tall pastas but this cap has a plastic interior screw that tends to break down over time and start sloughing off a tiny white plastic dust on items. My previous set, while old, was visibly shedding bits of plastic so I used the best few for wrapped items like chocolate or candy within wrappers. I had to throw the other lids out as they were really bad and who wants to eat little bits of plastic when we're trying to eliminate plastics altogether? Keep an eye on the plastic inside the lid, screw them on and off with care to avoid chipping the plastic and they'll last a while.
