So far so good. I am a furniture upholsterer. I bought this gun because it only has two bolts on the nose. Most long guns have four bolts, and the two in the center of the nose will scrape wood when wedged in hard-to-reach places. This gun is a bit noisy and shoots hard. I don't know how to properly describe it, but sometimes the gun fires a little softer, so if you need to get the bail out, the cloth underneath will do. But it's a bit rough on the fabric, so keep that in mind. I was not familiar with the Meite brand, but I found other worthy reviews. Not bad for the price.** January 2019 - In December, the gun started going crazy. Staples stick when fired. I had to stop, open it up, remove the broken pieces of the staple and put it back together. Either it got jammed, or the staple magazine opened several times in the middle of the staple! It's really dangerous. I hope it was just an accident.
