As a prosthetic wearer I'm always looking for the best mousetrap. This formula is intended for "gum care" and is very different from Fixodent's zinc-free products. The texture is a bit slimy, but when applied exactly as directed on the product packaging, it doesn't bleed and holds up relatively well. I am in the process of making new prostheses and I hope that this connection will not be needed for long. However, I will be using their sister product Fixodent with Scope mouthwash. These two products differ slightly from the zinc-free ones. The applicator has a pointed nose that provides good control when applying the product. I switched from regular zinc free to a gum friendly option.
