Review on Versatile Light Walnut/White Side End 🪑 Table Nighstand with Convenient Drawer – Height: 22.5 by Ashley Wood

This bedside table looks good, solid wood legs and is very easy and quick to assemble. BUT it is not a "wood veneer" as stated in the description. Veneer is a thin layer of natural wood applied to a surface, in this case MDF. Instead, the MDF is covered with some kind of wood grain paper. It's quite realistic, but if you look closely, it's clearly a cast. It's a nice glossy surface, but imagine how resistant glossy paper is to abrasion or moisture. Very easily scratched. I believe that this bedside table will not last long with very light use. It's in the guest room right now so I'm leaving it but it's disappointing as one of the main reasons I decided to purchase this product and no other is that it said it was "wood veneer", But that's not it.
