My son LOVES his backpack. The back is soft, so are the straps. There is only one big hole for children stuff. That's great for us because he goes to kindergarten and only has to bring a change of clothes. If your kids are older and bring home books and binders, I would suggest getting the 16-inch model instead of the 14-inch. A 14-inch backpack easily misses the corners of most school-age binders and binders. This backpack is perfect for preschoolers and preschoolers who bring nothing home with them other than random drawings and worksheets made in class.
