My daughter has a 1 year old and I bought her this for Christmas. They keep it in automatic mode and they really like it. As they cook, it intensifies to purify the air. Some of us got sick at Christmas, so we turned on a UV light and an ionizer to kill the virus and clear the air of dust. In sunny weather, turn on the ionizer and see how quickly all flying objects disappear into the air. We were impressed. I would like it to be closer to $100 instead of $140, but I plan to buy one for myself soon. Update: Something melted in my daughter's dishwasher over the weekend and the whole house stunk. I took the kid outside while they opened the windows. It didn't really help, so they moved OdorStop around the house to use in every room until the smell went away. It's amazing how quickly he got that smell out of the house.
