6 year old granddaughter loves jumping and bouncing on this ball. It says it's for 3-6 year olds but I find the 15 inch size much better for 3 year olds. Unless a 3 year old is very tall I don't see this as a good fit. It's great for a 6 year old and I'm sure it will serve her well when she is 7. It's especially fun when two or three children are there with their own bouncy balls. Kids seem to get tired pretty quickly when they're alone. But when several of them do it together, they go on and on!
