Not sharp at all - do not buy
I was very disappointed that these shears weren't good as I really liked them and wanted them to be great. The problem is that the top 1 inch of the blade (point) wasn't sharp at all and didn't cut the hair, just pulled it. The only part that was sharp and could cut hair was the middle part, but that wasn't very useful since using the tip of the scissors is a common technique. I would happily return them BUT I decided to sharpen them myself as I was hoping that would solve the problem so I doubt that's an option.
