Exactly what I was looking for, no straw issues!
What you need! A medium-capacity water bottle (big enough that I didn't have to keep refilling it, but small enough not to be bulky) that would also fit in my car's cup holder (it was a deal breaker, lol, and my biggest gripe). about my 40oz Hydroflask! I don't mind drinking room temperature water. I keep a cup of water on my desk throughout the day and the ice always melts when I'm done with it. I've had no problems. I tried it once before unplugging the clear plug under the cap (as other commenters have suggested) and it worked fine so I left it in place.No leaks, works perfectly.
