First I applied the product with a spatula or spatula, repeated the next day and saw nothing but flat. Not suitable for popcorn. I read other reviews as over 50% gave 5 stars and I must be doing something wrong. Yes I didn't follow the directions and the texturing only happens if you apply it with a brush etc and texturize with it. Repetition. You have to wet it to get the bumpy popcorn look. DO NOT use a spatula, ruler, etc. or scrape it smooth if you want it to look like popcorn. I didn't have any drawing lessons at school, so using a brush was foreign to me. But it requires the use of a brush or other stroke on the subject. I only gave 4 stars because my popcorn top had more bumps than the product and if it had more particles I could apply them and get a closer match to my popcorn. Ceiling. But getting dressed was fine. 4 stars
