Review on 🔧 ACDelco Professional Engine Water Pump 252-917 by James Oconnor

Fits as a replacement for my water pump on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler. to ensure a good seal. Be sure to check the torque requirements as the bolts break fairly easily. I think the torque is only 9 ft.lbs. I wouldn't reuse the screws for this as they are likely to wear out and break off. I broke one of these removing the water pump and I've heard that old bolts often break. I removed the water pump and showed 1/4" stud bolts. DO NOT attempt to use a vise as removing them will mess up every replacement. I bought this "bolt puller" at my local auto parts store and it worked wonders. Pretty good and I also used anti-seize thread lube I would highly recommend this bolt puller as it saved my bacon from having to weld a new nut on the end to pull it out Make sure to refill the coolant with the use correct coolant mixture for your vehicle (I checked with the dealer). I also highly recommend this for topping up your coolant without air pockets in the system.
