Great tool for cleaning cast iron!
For years I have struggled with all our cast irons when it comes to cleaning them without damaging the spices in the pan. This is a fantastic tool! Those who say it rips layers of cast iron off, you're rubbing too hard! It doesn't require much pressure from him to do his job. If you have a really difficult spot, heat a frying pan and put some oil on the difficult spot. Leave it hot for a few minutes, then carefully remove it with a tool. The only tricky part we have that doesn't really matter to us is that my husband has big hands and sometimes struggles to get a really good grip on the handle. However, this is perfect for me and I do most of my cast iron cleaning.
