The pressure is erased from the new ruler. Greasy, sticky fingerprints

I took it out of the box and found greasy, sticky fingerprints all over the ruler. What the hell? I can clean them, but damn it. So bought used? Then they took too much from me. I haven't even finished cutting out the pieces for the queen size quilt and the pressure on the ruler is already peeling off.

Includes a 15" x 4-1/2" ruler for making cabin blocks up to 14"
