My 9 year old son can use it alone so it's easy to use. However, after a month of irregular use, the device broke. While training with my son, I noticed that one of the arms became loose and wouldn't stay in the open position. After a few more punches, the arm fell off completely. One of the pins holding the lever is cut in half. I tried sending it back for a replacement but it looks like I missed the return deadline. It's a good design and I'm not sure I got a defective one, but its durability is questionable. I think I can fix it by drilling out a pin and buying a bolt/nut at a hardware store.
