Review on Tough Storm Buster Belly Wrap Blanket 69 Inch by Megan Washington

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I would not buy again!

Bought it for the price before reading the reviews. Not my usual mo but I have a rescue horse and it has never been covered before so I went with the cheapest option in case he rips it to pieces on day one. Well, after a week he likes it. So was I until it rained last night and now I have a wet pink horse. It didn't even rain that hard (less than 1/4 inch) but it got soaking, and in 30 degree weather it got a little wet. See the photo - the paint flowed down his legs - and moved to my coat. Hope. he washes himself off. Luckily I had already ordered him a replacement blanket, a more expensive one, since he was so good. It's also Tough 1 but claims to be waterproof, not waterproof (Orange/Camouflage - will be reviewed next week). I really like the design of the waist belt so I gave it an extra 2 stars just for that feature. I'll dry it out and update my review. I almost forgot to mention the disgusting smell when I first opened it. I had to hang it on deck for a week before it stopped smelling like an old, wet, canvas army duffel bag stuffed with smelly, moldy socks. Luckily I bought it well before my horse arrived. Also, it is a faded brick red color that is not that attractive and fades quickly. Not that he cares! **Update 1/5/2020** left it dry on deck for a few days and it faded badly. downgrading my rating. There is no reason for that. Whether on my deck rail or on my horse, they both stand in the sun. piss off!
