OMG - good luck with the sizing

I called Hard 1 to get the sizing. they turn out so big. And they don't stay. I bought for a horse that has a damaged hoof to protect and cut the veterinary wrap.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No performance

Size chart: Beware of boots

This is a truly innovative product. Don't justify a product with a low rating. He is too big for my quarter horse (1000 pounds). I ordered medium. Have to return them.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Reliability

The boot is really good and it stays up to what I had to.

The boot is really good and it's holding up except I had to reinforce and round the velcro with industrial grade velcro because valgro doesn't last very long and so the boot comes off

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Some flaws

A turning point in hoof problems

I have treated many hoof conditions and injuries over the years and this boot has relieved them so much. I've made a cohesive wrap with tape, but that's much easier, more durable, keeps feet drier, and peels off easily. Treating leg wounds will definitely change the game!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Damn better than rubber pots or soaking buckets

Just a little tricky to buckle up properly, but worth it. If you've even tried soaking horses' hooves by letting them sit in a rubber pan or short bucket for 20 minutes, only for them to dump all the dirt in the first few seconds, do one or more of these steps and leave it. look back.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Almost never

Excellent goods. Best in Horses

This hoof boot is amazing. Avalanche, our horse is about 850 pounds and I didn't have much hope that anything would hold up let alone that he would stay put, but this boot is used to store medication on his hoof which we change every day. It's the third day and the boot shows no signs of wear and has a metal last inside the boot. If there were ten stars, that would be ten (10)! Highly recommended.

Good for soaking. Let them get used to it naturally without liquid.

Suitable for soaking. Let them get used to wearing without liquid naturally. One or two feet at a time. Finally I ask them to go in with water in their boots so they don't think their feet will get stuck and they can't move them. They never like it, but they stop being afraid of them. I cut their legs myself and soaking makes it possible. Otherwise the hoof is too hard. And they're good for soaking with Epsom salts, vinegar, or soapy water. They are durable and can be cleaned. What more can we…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Mostly OK, but...

Great product! (ESP for the price!)

Great product for the price! Cured me of a nasty bar abscess that took a month to heal. Coped great with the daily soak, and once I finally got the hang of wrapping it in diapers and duct tape, it even withstood being forced out into the pasture (I think she only took it off twice!). It is still in very good condition and is in the first aid box. I'll probably replace the Velcro if I need to use it in the pasture again, but it has worked great in some rough conditions. Only recommendation, I…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
