Description of ๐Ÿด Optimized EasyCare Easyboot Rx Hoof Boot for Therapeutic Support

Therapy boot for support and relief from chronic lameness, laminitis, founder, navicular, and other lower limb or hoof problems. Great for horses recovering from injury, surgery or for those that have difficulty with hard surfaces. Great for trailering or breeding operations. Easy to apply and remove. Not for riding, but okay for light turnout.

Disappointed - wears boots

One boot buckle tongue came loose on each boot, only one tongue found in 1 week was missing when removed to clean dirt from boot. The horse was only chained to the stable. Disappointing

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Negative impression

Good boot. Appears to be undersized.

Looks small. It's hard to get in. Sold individually. I had to send it back as I tried it on a small one. My horse wears a 3 in all other boots but this one was too small. Good shoe though.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Measure before buying

These boots make life very easy for our thin-soled horse. They fit perfectly and last. They must be removed after a day or two as the hooves become warm and sweaty in the Texas heat. Easy to wash and dry.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Imperfections

I used a piece of cardboard to trace the hoof to get the perfect fit. I recommend doing the same. Easy to put on. Stayed in place long enough for the ugly rockfall to heal. This horse was lame on three legs and had a sound boot. Carried her in the stable with no problems and then in a small paddock for a week. Next time I use it I'll have to get a new insole as the original has been shredded but other than that it's still in great condition!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Compatibility

The poor guy was very lame

Let's see how they hold up. Arrived today for my gelding to recover from a white line and some serious hoof care to help him heal. The poor fellow was very lame and that brought immediate relief. He walks almost normally in boots and actually started rolling, which he couldn't. Not bad to continue. I wear a tube stocking with cut off toes and tops to avoid chafing. Very happy with them and will be ordering a second pair to 'wash and wear'.

Pros
  • Absolutely awesome!
Cons
  • No instructions

Great boot! on boots

I love these boots! I used them daily on my mare with a quarter tear and angle problems for daily grazing. First I put on a man's sock with a toe carved into her hoof, then I put on a boot and a gold sock band over the boot. stops any friction or twisting. They are difficult to get used to and stand up to daily abuse. I ordered 3 pairs, mine eventually broke but it took a few weeks. A good boot keeps dirt out of the boot.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No

Lightweight boots have made my life easy!

These boots are awesome! My hoof specialist noticed them when I brought my horse to him. He thought they were the best made boots he had ever seen. I told him how they changed our lives. Our horse used to tear up our trailer, but he's more comfortable in these boots. They worked great when we transitioned him from bad shoes to better feet and shoes with no pads! With the right fit, I can throw him in and take him across different types of terrain to encourage his legs to work the way they wereโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Shorter cord than other models

Really usable but not very durable

My horse has fallen badly (2016) with twisted coffin bones in both front hooves. We bought these boots to offer a little more cushioning. We had to throw away the pillow insert (it's junk) and 3D print some inserts instead. If he's having a bad day, there's some improvement - relief is often immediately visible. We have 3 pairs (bought over time) that we change since he wears them for weeks and they get wet. What really annoys me about these boots is the cheap outer material. While he wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
