Beautifully designed kit for creativity. It is delivered in an outer box and then packed in a high-quality gift bag. The box is a beautiful wooden box with a chest-shaped lid and two drawers, very impressive for a child. Inside is a nice set of pretty good quality art supplies. It's a bit heavy on the marker/whiteboard side, but it comes with a very cool easel that folds out for portability/storage. In addition to whiteboard markers, there are double-ended markers, silky gel pens, some "pastel" ones that look more like crayons, sharpeners and erasers, and watercolor pencils. You paint with them like regular pencils and then if you want you can shade them with a wet brush like you would with a watercolor. They add an interesting, advanced technique to a child's set, but are also more accurate and versatile than a watercolor pan set. I wish it came with a brush. I added one for a gift.
