Excellent quality! It is a very soft, smooth polyurethane that is pleasant to the touch. It's flexible but has a reinforced bottom to keep it sitting straight! The brand logo is unobtrusive, the tassel and bow embellishments are cute and well made. The only complaint I have is that the segmented ring holding the tassel and bail broke when I tried to undo it, but I think I twisted when it could have just opened itself with less effort should open. Overall I'm so happy with it that I'll try to update my review once I've used it a bit. Update: It's not that long ago, but I'm still in love! It's passed every test I've done with it so far, and I'm rather strict with purses and backpacks. The straps adjusted after a use or two and it fits a little more than it looks. The straps are held in place by four swiveling clips, one at each end of each strap, and because they're hinged, they never get tangled or look wrong. It *still* stands up on its own, giving it a 5-star rating. My only wish is that there could be another compartment in the main area of the zipper, so that my little things that don't fit in the two small compartments don't accidentally end up floating around on the bottom of the backpack. Otherwise I just love this case. I can stuff my whole life in it and it doesn't bulge or stick to my back making it uncomfortable like many other bags. It's so darn cute, can't wait to find another ring so I can hang a tassel, bow or black unicorn charm that I bought especially for him!
