I have now bought four of these timers. I've seen others comment on how difficult they are to program and in some cases complained about the lack of instructions. Well, anything that has robust features isn't going to be too easy to program. But once you get the hang of it, which I don't find too difficult, you'll be amazed by this timer and its features. As for the instructions, they came with all four of my timers. They print very small, so I just put them through my scanner into a PDF, enlarged the PDF for viewing, took a larger screenshot, copied the screenshot into a Word doc, and printed them out for easy reading and compliance when programming timers. Because the timer has a built-in battery that saves all data in the event of a power outage, I charge, disconnect, and program the timers more easily than if they were plugged into a wall or device. You'll love this little timer once you get comfortable with programming (and making the instructions more readable).
