Took me 1 1/2 hours to put it together but wasn't that hard. The instruction booklet has step-by-step instructions and each plastic piece has a corresponding letter on it, making the cage easier to assemble. Pros: Two deep sleeping pods, easy-to-use plastic tubing system with multiple breathing holes, plenty of floor space for accessories, two food cup inserts, and tight pole spacing to prevent escape. Cons: Big wheel, too heavy for the included stand. , so I attached it to the top level of the cell. The water bottle was fine but the holder was absolutely awful. There wasn't enough handle to hold a water bottle, so I used a different one instead. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done. Both plastic ladders seem too steep for my hamster so I need to find an alternative. Although it was an expensive cage it is well made and despite my concerns about plastic ladders this is still the best cage in terms of size and layout.
