I actually have these to hook up to fill up some emergency water tanks. As a test, I hooked one up to a hose to wash my car here in Arizona where hard water is pretty bad. To my surprise, he took out all the minerals and left the car spotless! Plus, drinking water straight from the hose after the filter tastes better than the water that's filtered at home! And since you can get 2 of these 4 for less than the price of one from other sellers, it's a great value! Definitely recommend them to everyone.
