After more than 3 years of ownership (as of 12/25/2016): PROS: - Sturdy bag as a whole; Particular attention should be paid to the bag base, zips, hanging loop and straps and buckles, which have held up to 3 years of daily use - Plenty of room in three well-designed compartments - A small top pocket is surprisingly useful for sunglasses - Lots Useful stuff Pockets in two outside compartments - Laptop pocket and tablet slot are comfortable and well padded - Looks great - understated but elegant CONS: - Exterior scratches fairly easily - Back side gets a bit hot/sweaty after a few hours of wear - Backpack itself is not lightweight - in theory the side pockets are good for a water bottle but in practice my water bottles tended to fall out. MISCELLANEOUS: - Airport security will most often insist that you take your laptop completely out of your bag by opening it 180 degrees. more annoying than helpful (if accidentally unpacked too far). Of course, there are no problems with the bag itself. - My chest strap was stepped on and snapped (highly unlikely a buckle could withstand this, so I don't consider this a fault); I didn't miss it much - the headphone hole is good in theory, but it fits well enough that I don't have to worry. I carry a 15 inch Macbook to work every day and fly 10-15 times a year; I bought this bag 3 years ago to be my workhorse backpack and carry on and it did its job with pleasure. Softly padded tablet compartment and laptop compartment protected both devices from bumps (of which there were many). The outside pocket easily holds a pair of Sennheiser HD 280's and my snake pit of handles, cables, chargers and adapters, straps and buckles have withstood frequent tugging (just light wear near the seams on the underside of the strap which is the one I use most - nothing , hampering use so far), but the exterior the look of the bag has withstood the slipping and rubbing of air travel with impressive nonchalance. My only complaints about the bag's design are minor (as detailed above): the side pockets and internal mesh don't fit well enough to hold water bottles, the headphone jack is a little too big to worry about, and the back panel can get warm after wearing for a long time. If this bag *ever* dies (I reckon it'll be around for another 2-3 years) - I'd happily order Everky again (maybe something without a full unboxing?).
