I bought this product for my 25ft trailer. Two reasons I bought it: 1. To help me back up to a campsite or driveway. and 2. to help me see what's behind me as I drive down the freeway. So, 1st backup on the site or entrance. The camera works well, has a very sharp image and can add background lines if desired. I added them when saving. Ever since I learned how to belay without a camera, the fact that it's there has only been marginally helpful. BUT, the camera works GREAT. As said, a clear picture, excellent view of the area behind the trailer. 2nd rearview mirror if you want. With a trailer behind a truck you have no idea how close someone is behind you, crazy drivers are everywhere. With this camera I was able to monitor all the traffic around me. This made reconstruction much easier. I could visually see that I had completely passed someone before I switched to the lane in front of them. Even at 65 mph the camera performed very well. The ONLY downside is that sometimes the picture freezes or the signal drops out. My setup is 46 feet from the front bumper to the back of the trailer. At slow speeds it never froze, at over 60 mph it occasionally froze. It never caused any problems when I needed it, and adjusting the dual antenna seemed to help. This is the only thing keeping it from 5 stars.
