I have a habit of buying weird gadgets just because I like them. There was something sci-fi about it, so I had to have it. It turns out that even for me it is very useful. This allows me to hobble to the bathroom in the middle of the night without turning on the bright light to wake me up. I could and have used night lights, but they're usually always on when it's dark and I like/need total darkness. And it's cool! I've had it for a few months now. Almost perfect in its properties: long battery life, easy to charge, adjustable in color and brightness, waterproof (of course), easy to clean. It has a highly adjustable "clip" that conforms to any edge of the toilet and holds securely. The only thing I would like to change is the ability to set the activation distance. Simply walking around the bathroom will turn it on, which should impact battery life. The only fault I had was that one of the units would turn off several times while urinating; for no apparent reason.
