Bought these to mount a light bar on the roof of my car so I didn't have to drill holes in the roof. At first I had my doubts as to whether they would be strong enough to hold a 42-inch lightbar to the car while cruising down the road at freeway speeds and beyond, but they're pretty damn strong. I've had these on my car several times. The time is now and I've gotten them through the bell, accelerating at over 100mph along with strong gusts of wind (up to 60mph) as well as bouncing off the road and they've never let go or even moved when they do want to remove them, you need two people to remove them from the car, they are so strong. With the rubber caps that are on the magnets themselves, the paint hasn't been damaged, so it's a very good plus for them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a no-drill mounting option.
