I didn't even try to connect the fans after seeing the reviews of how poorly they worked and how short it does his work perfect. Lift my laptop off the table and ensure good ventilation. OTH if the metal starts to bend and warp I will get annoyed and amend this review accordingly. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The upgrade already had an old Antec laptop cooler and I was pretty happy with it, except it was very noisy. Thoughtfully I connected the fans for ORICO and now for Orico the fans are much quieter so far so good and I am very happy I will be buying a 2nd one for my 2nd laptop just got my 2nd Orico cooling pad for my 2nd one .bought laptop, they both work great and it was a bit tricky to install the fans, in fact it wasn't that difficult at all for the price, can't beat this best buy
