So folded. It has no shape when opened. It's like a flexible duffel bag that's empty. .Mostly I got this for paper gift wrapping - I have a lot plus some from this program. It's going to be overkill trying to keep everything organized and tidy in a box that doesn't suit everyone. Now understand that this gift wrap bag is long! It appears to be longer than the wrapping paper itself, around 7-9 inches if I'm not mistaken. I would like it to be more form fitting and slightly taller than the actual height of the wrapping paper. Not sure if wrapping paper in the US is a different size than paper in other countries? So that's my biggest complaint and takeaway from this product. Everything else was to be expected given the fragility of the bag.
