Description of Yokohama iceGUARD SUV G075 245/70 R16 107Q winter

The Yokohama Ice Guard SUV G075 winter tire was developed to replace the Geolandar I/T-S, a popular model that had some drawbacks. The most significant of these were grip properties, significantly improved in the novelty. The use of the latest technologies and materials allowed it to surpass its predecessor in most other driving characteristics. Universal drainage grooves To a large extent, grip on winter surfaces has been improved due to the multifunctionality of the grooves running between the blocks and ribs of the tread. In addition to drainage, these elements perform other functions. In particular, the longitudinal grooves of the zigzag shape, providing a contact patch with additional edges, improve grip on an icy surface. In addition, this design at their intersections allows the tread to better cling to the snowy surface, due to the ability to grip and hold snow. High control accuracy Another advantage over the previous model is the increased control accuracy. This parameter was also improved due to the features in the design of the running part of the tread. A wide, unbreakable rib runs along its center, resistant to deformation, like the shoulder blocks. These elements provide a faster transfer of transverse acceleration forces to the supporting frame elements. As a result, the tire reacts almost instantly to the actions of the driver, giving the process of driving a car with precision and transparent feedback. Sipes in all areas of the treadCompared to the previous model, the sipe density has been significantly increased. The miniature slots are spaced a few millimeters apart, as are the engagement edges they form. This was made possible thanks to the 3D design of the lamellas. This design prevents them from closing under the influence of the weight of the car, and in addition, it limits the mobility of the blocks, which has a positive effect on handling and maneuverability on various types of surface. Optimized Rubber CompoundMost of the traction on ice comes not from tread design, but from some of the properties of the rubber compound. It contains components that allow the tire to absorb moisture from an icy surface. Such "drying" of the contact patch ensures 100% use of all the possibilities of the running part of the tread. In addition, the composition of the compound includes special polymers. With their help, the tire literally sticks to the icy surface, fitting even the smallest bumps as tightly as possible. This property is maintained even at very low ambient temperatures. Evaluate the effectiveness, in fact, of the new compound can be based on test results. Compared to its predecessor, this model demonstrates a quarter shorter stopping distance on ice. Features of Yokohama Ice Guard SUV G075:universal grooves for account

Purchase quality tires; you won't regret it. I take several sizes for the second time. In addition, I skipped taking pictures in the summer and winter and went to the first batch following my second year! and did not disappear during the summer when it was plus 40 degrees. Then, throughout the cold, they behaved flawlessly!

Pros
  • really high-quality tires. It was P17 when I first purchased it on a Santafe. Now I went to Cherry Exid with P19. holds the road firmly in snowdrifts, ice, and snow conditions. It drips flawlessly!
Cons
  • failed to find

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

As a result of the winter, I made the decision to write a review. After purchasing a Dunlop, I skated for only one season since the tires were so bad. Purchased from the Santa FE4 website. The cold and the ice have melted away in Hong Kong, and even if the temperature is over 120, there is no noise. The driver of the car maintains a steady pace on the ice. In general, Yakohama will maintain ownership of the brand. Relax and take things easy.

Pros
  • Not a lot of noise keeps you on the road.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

The duration of use is for a period of six months, and the flight will be routine. One piercing every season: a pin 6 cm * 1 cm * 0.3 cm . After having it fixed at the tire shop, they pulled it out and were shocked at how well the rubber survived such a severe puncture. I had been pumping it up once every three days for the previous two weeks.

Pros
  • Smooth, silent, and with good road holding ability.
Cons
  • No

Satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

Tire fitting and tire fitting with fitting cannot be done within the warehouse. The partners of the vendor propose a price of $1000 per wheel while also providing a 20% discount. Price differences between tires and Hong Kong are 8%.

Pros
  • The cabin is quiet (there are no spikes), and the handling and braking are adequate. gently traverses the road's joints. They gave me the option to select the size, and I wanted the largest possible rubber so that it wouldn't touch the suspension and body components with the greatest possible wheel eversion.
Cons
  • Up to 200 grams of weight per wheel were employed to balance the wheels. But even at over 120 km/h, there is a hammering. When travelling across a wavering surface, there is a certain "jumping" involved.

Totally disappointed, product is terrible.

I live in Hong Kong, I used Spikes for 10 years and decided to try this Velcro. don't take it. this is a terrible rubber, it drags along the track from side to side, there is no adhesion on ice, it will only be normal to use it off-road in summer. if anyone wants to sell it.

Pros
  • quiet
Cons
  • doesn't hold the road at all

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

The overall experience of working with this rubber has met my expectations. After three months of driving this way, I have observed that I save between one and two liters of petrol, which is extremely great. The lamellas are effective at draining water, the snow does not become entangled, and the contact patch is adequate; the tire adheres to brushed asphalt, snow, and ice by a factor of 5 or more, but only 5 on ice. The item lived up to my expectations and was well worth the cash. Auto - Kia…

Pros
  • Saves gasoline, good grip
Cons
  • I haven't been able to locate it just yet, and I really hope I won't.

Yokohama iceGUARD SUV G075 was purchased on Duster, and it was selected for the same conditions as the vehicle itself! And you can go to work, and be handsome while doing so on the track, and if necessary, across the field or the mud, well, nishtyaks like fishing, excursions to the dacha for mushrooms and apples - these all happen on a regular basis. All of this takes place throughout the summer; hence, efforts were made to get a set of crossover tires so that the vehicle would not have to be…

Disgusting, I don't recommend it to anyone!

The Basics: I'm a 20-year veteran driver from St. Petersburg who owns a 2.4-liter Outlander SUV with all-wheel drive. I made the mistake of not bringing spikes despite living in a city with a mild climate and having a good experience riding a toyo Velcro. In the yards with icy rutting, driving became a nightmare; the car was continuously blown to one side, and it was terrifying to try and catch someone. I was driving my kid to school once when the back tire went into a hole and I spent 20…

Pros
  • Due to the lack of spikes and general lack of use during the season, the rubber is unusually silent.
Cons
  • Control and Stopping

My summer tires are even more durable than this rubber. I didn't test it out on snow because it hadn't arrived yet, but we were really happy with how quiet it was. Thailand-made (I had no idea Thailand produced rubber). First impressions are usually correct, therefore I suggest going with a relatively new 2022 model.

I went to the Mosavtoshina store in Hong Kong and bought four tires there. For the past week, tires have been transported from St. Petersburg. I arrived at the point of issue, where I examined the date of production as well as the nation it was made in. Tires sized 2022 and manufactured in Japan. As soon as I came back to my house, I began unloading the tires, and as I did so, I saw that the wheels were of varying grade. The sipes that are carved into the blocks of three of the four tires look…

Pros
  • not installed at this time
Cons
  • poor quality of construction, produced in Japan

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

I swapped out the factory 255/50 R20 tires on my Ford Explorer for these with larger dimensions (265/50 R20). In January of 2022, 4 out of 42 tires needed mounting. Only standard Continental Cross Contact summer tires, which I have successfully used in the winter, serve as a point of comparison for me. When accelerating and braking on the snowy road, the summer tires' anti-lock brake system (ABS) engaged, and the automobile was pushed forward helplessly. It is possible to feel the tires…

Pros
  • The Road to Price Confidence
Cons
  • The replacement tires I purchased are actually almost a year and a half old. The sole negative aspect identified so far

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

Perfect fit for an off-road vehicle, excellent adhesion to any surface. On asphalt and rolled snow they go silently, on ice at a reasonable speed and uniform control they do not slip, off-road, as much as they had to go, they always coped with a bang. They start off from an icy surface without slipping. They are not afraid of snow-chemical porridge on the track.

Pros
  • I have this rubber for the third season on the Toyota Highlander. Completely satisfied with the tires.
Cons
  • No

Quality at zero, very sorry for the money spent.

Pros below: ok for summer, although they write that they are winter, in winter you can only drive on clean asphalt Cons below: noisy - on the water (in the rain in autumn) howls like an airplane. it’s impossible to drive in the snow in winter - it winds as if I’m not driving on full drive

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Someone wrote about the poor quality of production. I'm great. As for this rubber, you need to understand that it also needs a break-in. The rubber fully opens up after about 1000 km, when the top layer is erased and the porous rubber compound begins to work, which is responsible for the grip on ice and snow. And remember that miracles do not happen and always think with your head.

Pros
  • Price. Made in Japan. Size 265/70R17. Date 0320, which is very pleasing.
Cons
  • Not at the moment

I am aware that my review is completely unrepresentative. I am writing just on emotions . After I almost killed myself on the S-class and C4 Aircross on oak, uncontrollable Yokohamah, I swore off taking this rubber. But bought into the reviews. I changed my principle. Took 225/55 R18 on Outlander. Do not judge . I drove 50 km . But guys . It's just an incredible delight! The car is unrecognizable! Suspension has become a class softer! Manageability - an order of magnitude higher! Silence! To…

Pros
  • Quiet, soft, well-kept wet asphalt as a plus.

ate (02/27/2022): Ice, ice with rain, icy asphalt uphill, sand on the Crimean coast, small-rocky impassability, ice rut, snow rut, deep snow - it didn’t get stuck anywhere, didn’t slip, didn’t skid! (pah-pah-pah) I drove them at the end of December from Hong Kong home to Hong Kong, in January they went to the Crimea, at the end of January - to the Elbrus ski resort. I am delighted with these tires, in any case, I did not regret it for sure! I pulled out the figure eight from a snowdrift - I…

Pros
  • I write a review right after purchase, so there is not much to write. Ice was only in the parking lot near the Bkacktires tire shop. The car climbed up a small hill on bare ice confidently and without a hint of grinding. There is nothing to compare with - the first car. Installation and balancing upon purchase were free of charge, they did everything quickly, the masters and the manager were short and understandable in communication. In general, I am satisfied with the store and the products, but time will tell how the tires behave.
Cons
  • There is none of them.

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I put it on Sorento Prime in October 2022, at +5 + 10С on wet and dry asphalt they drive and brake well, I didn’t notice much difference with summer ones either in terms of stiffness or noise. By the way, there is noise and rumble from the tread and it is very noticeable, the Shumka of the car is not very good, but still. In winter, there are no complaints at all, they row wonderfully in the snow, parked in snowdrifts, after the past Hong Kong snowfalls, quite drove around the city, drove into…

Pros
  • Reasonable price, good handling, patency.
Cons
  • There is noise and hum. Expected it to be quieter.

Proezdil winter stands on the X5. On ice, of course, this is not a spike, no matter who says it. According to all tests, the grip of this rubber on ice is better than that of spikes only at temperatures below minus 20 degrees. You have to be careful, especially outside the city in strong icy corners, reduce your speed to 50. You also need to be careful on spikes, but you just need to double with Velcro. Well, there is nothing for her to bite into the surface. Pure physics. Stick due to…
