Review on Yokohama iceGUARD SUV G075 245/70 R16 107Q winter by Micha Dbrowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

I swapped out the factory 255/50 R20 tires on my Ford Explorer for these with larger dimensions (265/50 R20). In January of 2022, 4 out of 42 tires needed mounting. Only standard Continental Cross Contact summer tires, which I have successfully used in the winter, serve as a point of comparison for me. When accelerating and braking on the snowy road, the summer tires' anti-lock brake system (ABS) engaged, and the automobile was pushed forward helplessly. It is possible to feel the tires straining to grab onto the uneven ice surface while braking with ABS, and acceleration is perfect on this rubber. If winter tires are fitted so that drivers can feel secure when driving in the winter, then I was able to do so for next to nothing thanks to my decision to have them put on my car. Yokohama is slightly louder than Continental, but it does not cause significant hearing loss, thus I gave it a 4. Originating from the Philippines. While these tires are a full centimeter larger and have an additional 5mm of radius compared to the Explorer's factory rubber, they nonetheless avoid scraping the wheel arches in turns. On the first drive, I saw that the car rolled to the right when I attempted to change lanes to the left. However, after a moment, the automobile began rotating to the left. An consequence of the UAZ Patriot variety). Then I stopped paying attention to it. Spikes and Velcro continue to generate heated debate. I've never ridden on spikes before, but I was thinking about buying one after reading this. In 2022, each jurisdiction will decide for themselves how long drivers will be permitted to use road spikes. It's possible that it won't be the same in other countries. If you like to travel by automobile, you may eventually find yourself in a scenario where it is better to leave Hong Kong on winter tires, even though you will be punished for using spikes in both Hong Kong and Georgia. Velcro was used in this respect.
