Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Enhanced Surgical Support: MARENA Recovery Adjustable Compression Bra for Post-Operative Care by Vera Lewis

Money down the drain and it hurts.

UPDATE: I wore this bra all night while the bra my surgeon gave me was in the wash. This bra managed to dig into my ribs and slide down my incision while I slept. The cut is now red, raised, and irritated where the bottom elastic used to dig in. Do not take any risks. If you need a post-op bra that is comfortable, provides adequate compression, and is sold by a supplier that provides excellent customer service, please look elsewhere. $50 down the drain and a sore cut. I contacted the seller and asked for a refund as I did not receive the item on time. I got NO response from the seller and thought (correctly) I would be stuck with the product so I tried it on. This bra is an animal! (Not the best, beast!) I followed the manufacturer's sizing chart closely and expected it to be close enough (the sizing chart is shown twice and eventually referenced). I bought them a size 34-36, and while the strap is fine (very stiff for a surgical gown, but reasonable size) the cups are insanely uncomfortable: they have this thick crease that's designed to move stretches, making it suitable for a variety of cup sizes. Other bras have this too, but on other bras the pleating is fine enough to get in the way and mark the skin/disrupt the seams. This is not the case here. If you bought this for a surgical recovery and find the design unwearable, I recommend filling the cups with non-stick ABD pads (like they do after surgery) which will make it more portable. If you can, skip this one and look for another option with a hook and eye closure (instead of a zipper).
