Review on πŸ”₯ Lumabase Flame Resistant Luminaria Bags - White, Pack of 100 (Model 01410) by Kim Sanchez

Decomposes completely on exposure to moisture

I have received other bags from Lumabase that were waxed like an old fashioned baking bag. I've used them several times at Christmas all weather along with the plastic coasters they also sell. I bought these fireproof bags for a backyard wedding for added security. I flew to the wedding by plane so taking all the plastic coasters with me wasn't practical. The morning before the wedding, I started filling sandbags with the sand I just bought from the hardware store. The sand in the bag was slightly damp but not wet. By the time I had filled about ten bags, the first few bags had soaked up moisture from the sand and fell apart. There was no way to use them. Such a disappointment. We just abandoned the plan and forgot the beautiful glow I wanted to add around the perimeter of the courtyard. I don't know how they can be used outside at Christmas when the ground is always wet. I will go back to my old worn out and crumpled wax bags. Even regular brown lunch bags, which I've also used, hold up better. when the ground is always wet. Pros
  • Home Decor: Use these glow bags with a LumaBase candle holder or a pound of sand to attach your bag and candle (not included). The bags are perfect for covering a sidewalk, driveway or sidewalk.
Cons
  • I will add later

We used the bags for Luminaries for our Christmas Eve services.
