Review on J-Tech Digital Wireless HDMI Dongle Kit: 1080p 100' Range with IR Passthrough by Dragan Nelson

I rarely write negative reviews but I think I got pretty burnt on this one. I bought this as a wireless solution for a film production set. The best I can say is that it worked sometimes. If literally EVERYTHING is in the receiver's path, it will lose the signal. If you're more than 50 feet away (I have one that's rated at 164 feet), it loses signal. If it loses the signal, in most cases you'll have to power cycle the receiver, the transmitter, or both to get it back on. When it worked, it worked REALLY well, delivering both video and audio fairly flawlessly. But it wasn't reliable at all and after only three projects, the USB power connector became detached and no longer maintained a reliable network connection. , and move with it, it's junk. Disappointing and waste of my $200. I'm going to bite the bullet and buy the Cinegears Ghose Eye System. And that's a shame, because it CAN work. it's just not true.
