Review on Diamond Group Valterra DG15BKVP Receptacle by Imed Artun

Sounds like a great idea but I would never put this in my van. Looks like a poor quality Chinese socket and could start a fire in my opinion. It features a built-in back box that allows for a very compact outlet installation. The outlet uses a connection with a plug-in insulator. All you have to do is remove the outer jacket from the Romex part and plug the wires into the connector on the back of the jack. I think it should be used with solid wire and is not designed for stranded wire which you should use to build a van. This might work well for a desktop app, but I'd be concerned about using it for a mobile app. I'm sending it back because I don't trust him.
