When I first took them out of the box I thought the material was thinner than I expected but apparently the "glue" or the "strength" to which I'm not accustomed to something different. If you've worn them for 40+ years, you really get to know the product inside and out. The crease resistance is a bit lower but in the end they are a lot cheaper than the money I usually give for them and still a good quality. Looks great and holds up to the abuse of mechanical lubrication week after week. The fit is perfect. The Red Kap has a cut that works well for either fat or thin in the same shirt. Half of it is a nice unified look. No male breasts or beer intestines can be seen. Just a neat look.
